Dear Friends,

Greetings in Jesus name.
The new year has brought new students to our ministry’s U.S. citizenship classes. In
January I started teaching a Sikh father with two young children. His life story was one of
hardship as he left Punjab at the age of 15 years and migrated through Europe by foot for
a year, encountered immigration authorities, and ultimately landed in Milan, Italy where
he lived for nearly 15 years. He married a U.S. citizen and came to the U.S. nearly a
decade ago but never learned to write in English. I had a wonderful opportunity to share
the gospel and pray with him while he was preparing for the citizenship interview. Before
he went for the interview at the U.S. immigration office, I prayed with him again. He
passed the citizenship interview and became a new U.S. citizen in January. Please pray
for him, his wife, and two young children.

A few weeks ago, a Sikh woman reached out to me about becoming a U.S. citizen. In our
conversation, I told her I am a Christian pastor from South India. She said, “Hallelujah!”
She mentioned that while she was in Punjab, India, a pastor used to visit their home to
pray. She said she heard the word “Hallelujah” many times, and she expressed her
interest in knowing more about Jesus. Please pray for her as we work together in
preparation for her exam.

The South Indian Christian community continues to grow in the Tracy and Manteca area
as families move out of the Bay Area. In February, I was invited to dedicate a new South
Indian Christian home in Lathrop, CA. Over 50 people gathered for the dedication

service, many of whom were IT engineers working in Silicon Valley. About 15 non-
Christians attended the dedication service. The need for ministry to reach this emerging

community of Indians continues to grow. We are praying about starting a Bible study in
the area.

At the end of February, I conducted a seminar called Love Your Neighbors for a Bible
study group in Atwater. I walked through the Sikh and Hindu faiths, common greetings,
and cultural practices to help people interact with their Sikh and Hindu neighbors. We are
thankful for the opportunity to share about the Indian community with church groups and
their willingness to learn.

If the Lord leads to you support this ministry, please make your check to India
Community Ministry and mail to India Community Ministry, 4061 Persimmon Road,

Thank you for your prayers and support to continue the Lord's work in the Central Valley.
